Installation Steps

1. Download

Obtain SigmaClearLag.jar from the official releases page.

2. Place the JAR

server/
└── plugins/
    └── SigmaClearLag.jar   ← place here

3. Start the Server

Configuration is auto-generated on first run:

plugins/
└── SigmaClearLag/
    └── config.yml

4. Verify

Console output on successful load:

[SigmaClearLag] Plugin enabled successfully!

Folia Servers

SigmaClearLag detects Folia automatically. On Folia, chunk scanning uses RegionScheduler instead of BukkitScheduler. The chunks-per-tick setting is ignored on Folia (region threading handles throughput natively).

PlaceholderAPI Setup (Optional)

Install PlaceholderAPI alongside SigmaClearLag. The placeholder registers automatically with no additional steps.

Updating

1. Stop your server
2. Replace the JAR in plugins/
3. Restart — config is preserved

Uninstalling

1. Stop the server
2. Remove the JAR
3. Optionally delete plugins/SigmaClearLag/
